THE RIO FIVE

These athletes were victims of unimaginable hardship, forced to leave their homes in South Sudan, and united under with other refugees from around the globe under a single flag so as to participate at the 2015 Rio Olympics . The IOC President Thomas Bach called them “a symbol of hope” in a time of crisis.
