We support three interrelated projects: the Refugee Team Training Center in Ngong, Kenya; the Peace Academy, a K-8 school for orphans from the conflict areas in North Kenya in Kapenguria, Kenya; and a Warrior’s Training Camp, for reformed warriors committed to live peacefully, developing skills in farming and ranching, in Kapenguria.

Kapenguria Peace Academy K-8 School

The Kapenguria Peace Academy teaches orphan, refugee, and local children at a residential campus in Kapenguria, Kenya, the County Seat for West Pokot County. Founded originally for orphans of the conflicts between tribes in North Kenya, the Academy now provides a safe school for children from conflict areas in East Africa.

North Kenya Reformed Warrior Training Camp

Since 2003, Tegla Loroupe has maintained a training camp for warriors who committed to putting down their weapons and changing their lives to live in peace. For some, that meant training as a competitive athlete.
